I am a novice yoga instructor teaching part-time while pursuing a bachelor's degree in nursing at Wichita State University. A few years ago, I began practicing yoga irregularly, but it has since become an integral part of my journey toward becoming a better version of myself. Yoga has been essential in regulating my mental health, helping me manage the stress and anxiety that I face daily. By clearing my mind and gradually relieving physical tension, yoga has significantly improved my mental well-being.

As a certified nursing assistant, my nursing career has been demanding and physically taxing. Yoga has been instrumental in releasing tension, restoring mobility, regaining energy, and alleviating work-related pain, thereby enhancing my physical health. Beyond these personal benefits, yoga has fostered my self-love, healing, and connection to a supportive community that transcends age and gender. Yoga truly is a vital part of my life and my journey to wellness.
